About Facial Imaging

Facial Imaging, LLC was established by Doctors Douglas Goldsmith and Gary Orentlicher, two oral and maxillofacial surgeons, to fulfill a need for high quality CT scan images to better plan dental implant cases. Their extensive experience and expertise in their field has resulted in Facial Imaging's partnership with over 25 scan sites in New York, Connecticut, and Massachusetts.

Facial Imaging receives the patient's scan electronically from one of our partner scan sites and then processes the scan using the appropriate software including SimPlant ^® (Facial Imaging is a SimPlant ^® Master Site), NobelGuide, Implant Logic Systems and Medical Modeling. Through our state-of-the-art processing method, we can deliver scatter-free, 3-D images in 24 hours. These images can be downloaded from our secure HIPAA compliant website.

If the doctor does not use 3-D treatment planning, Facial Imaging can provide prints or free viewing software so that they may view the images electronically. The viewing software allows the doctor to evaluate their patient's scan and perfrom precise measurements on the patient's individual anatomy.
